Fixed lifting beams

The intermediary element

SKS Fixed lifting beams

A lifting beam is a lifting accessory used as an intermediary between the crane hook and the load—especially in cases where the crane hook cannot be directly attached to the load.

Fixed lifting beams have a fixed span and are suitable for lifting loads with identical geometry.

Fact Box

Lifting beams can handle loads ranging from:

25 kg up to 100,000 kg

Fixed lifting beams are especially useful in production environments where the same type of item is frequently lifted, or when the item has a special shape and lacks natural lifting points. They are often used for long or large loads where slings or chains would be impractical or too unstable.

The design of the lifting beam is often adapted to the specific circumstances to ensure greater lifting stability or to facilitate attachment to the load.

  • Customized to the specific task
  • Provides stable lifts
  • Easy handling of the load
