SKS mast cranes
Almost all marinas are equipped with one or more mast cranes for stepping or unstepping the masts of sailboats. In addition, mast cranes are often used to lift small dinghies in and out of the water.
Mast cranes can be supplied with a winch at operating height or with a covered chain hoist mounted at the top of the crane. There is also the option to have either electric or manually operated slewing units installed on the crane.
All mast cranes are finished with corrosion-resistant surface treatments – either painted to corrosion class C5 High or hot-dip galvanized. Additionally, all motors are weather-protected, and all cables are suitable for outdoor use.
Mast cranes are typically installed on a foundation close to the quay edge to maximize reach over the water basin.
Foundation anchor bolts are supplied in advance as part of the SKS Cranes delivery.
Mast cranes are typically delivered with a lifting capacity of up to 1 tonne.
Delivered fully installed, tested, and CE marked.

Column jib cranes lift everything within the range:
100 kg and up to 63 tons
Overhead cranes are exceptionally robust crane constructions that are highly flexible and easy to adapt to any lifting requirement. Our crane components are of high quality and durability, making them suitable for a wide range of production environments.
Through customized design and configuration, we provide the most competitive—and technically optimal—solution for our customers. The cranes are built using the latest technology to enhance safety and productivity.
SINGLE-GIRDER TOP-RUNNING OVERHEAD CRANE
The end carriages run on top of the crane runways. The hoist trolley is underslung on the bridge. The trolley and hoist can be delivered in an extra low-headroom design to optimize lifting height.
Standard working range up to 10 tons with a maximum span of approx. 36 meters (box girder) and up to approx. 18 meters in profile steel.
SINGLE-GIRDER UNDER-RUNNING OVERHEAD CRANE
Both the end carriages and the trolley are underslung on the crane runways and bridge.
The trolley and hoist can be delivered in an extra low-headroom design to optimize lifting height.
This type of crane typically places high demands on the building’s roof structure.
Standard working range up to 8 tons with a maximum span of approx. 25 meters (box girder) and up to approx. 18 meters in profile steel.
DOUBLE-GIRDER OVERHEAD CRANE
This crane type is top-running and typically used for higher lifting capacities.
Can be delivered with a maximum lifting capacity of 160 tons.
